Steven D Greene

WEST COLUMBIA – Funeral services for Steve D. Greene, 60, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1330 Whippoorwill Dr., West Columbia. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Monday, July 21, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel. Memorials may be made to the Church General Missionary Fund.

Mr. Greene was born in Lenoir, NC.on March 17, 1954 to Lavon Trivette Caudell and the late James D. Greene. He passed away Friday, July 18, 2014. He worked at his family owned business, Greene’s Produce for many years. He served a mission for the Church in Ireland and Scotland. He was active in the church for his entire life, serving in various capacities. He was a loving husband, father, “Weepa”, son, brother and uncle. He was a humble man with a very big heart.

Mr. Greene is survived by, wife, Homa H. Greene, children, Nathaniel Greene and Kristen E. Rosado (Anthony J) all of Lexington; step-children, Rusty Koivu, Royce Koivu, Alice Brown, Marian Creech, Cecilia Robbins and Hudson White; siblings, Kay Mallard, Debbie Barber, Gene Greene and Nancy Greene; mother, Lavon Trivette Caudell and step-mother, Dorothy Dean Greene; grandchildren, Lexi and Jeanne Rosado of Lexington and 14 other grandchildren. He is predeceased in death by his father, first wife, Jeanne Vanhooser Greene, second wife Audrey Elaine Black Greene and son, Matthew Allen Greene.
