

He is also survived by his children, William “Rocky” Martin, Jr., Charles “Freddy” Martin, Rebecca “Becky” Locklear, Rosario Paul Camerone, Janine Fuller, James Campbell, and Paula Morefield (Smith); sisters, Jean Murray and Beverly Mocknes; grandchildren, William Andrew Martin III, Ashley Louise Martin, Daniel Nicole Martin, Charles Tyler Martin, Holly Brook Martin, Jeremy Dale Locklear, and Julia Lynn Locklear, Victor Courtney Marie Stevens, William Larry Camerone, Adrian Layton Wood, Alexis Paige Brown, Christopher Don Shephard, James Terrell Campbell, Chelsey Marie Camerone, and Gracey Mae Camerone; great-grandchildren, Christina, Rosario, Penelope, and little William Camerone, Payton and Nicole Cleary.
He has joined his daughter, Sherry Shephard; mother, Josephine Green; father, Charles Frederick Martin; sisters, Marie, Linda, Darlene, Alice; and brothers, Charles Frederick Jr., John Thomas and Frederick to take his place with our Heavenly Father.
Bill and his devoted wife were members of Trinity Baptist Church in Cayce, SC. Bill was a God-fearing man with old school values. He served our country in the US Army from 1959 – 1968, he loved watching car races and football. He drove a big rig for over fifty years and he touched many lives throughout his 79 years on this earth. He had a heart for those less fortunate than himself. He supported a variety of charities including St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, Florida Sheriff Youth Ranch and locally, the Oliver Gospel Mission in his community.
Services for Bill will be at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel. Visitation will take place from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel. Due to COVID, it is respectfully requested that only immediate family attend services.
