Gloria C. Sedillo

Gloria C. Sedillo, age 72, passed away on Friday, August 23, 2024 with her family by her side. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Benji officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. with Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors.

Gloria was born on April 29, 1952 to Joe P. and Dora Fraga (Vidalez) Contreras in San Antonio, Texas. She was a longtime resident of Waco, Texas. Gloria was a homemaker. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Gloria worked as para-professional with Waco ISD for 20 years. Gloria enjoyed spending time with her family and loved taking care of her grandchildren.

Gloria is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Jenaro D. “Henry” Sedillo, grandson, David Lopez, sister, Clara Castro, brother, Thomas Contreras, Sr.

Survivors her son, Mario Jose Sedillo; daughters, Laura Renee Alejandro, Jessica Sedillo, Henrietta Salazar, and Frances Sedillo; 15 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren; brothers, Joe Contreras and wife, Connie, Frank Fraga, Jr. and wife, Patricia; numerous nieces, nephew, and beloved step-children.

Pallbearers: Luis Salazar, Miguel Salazar, Jr., Nabor Lopez, Mario Sedillo Jr., Jesus Omar Alejandro Jr., Pablo Alejandro, Raul Alejandro, and Mario Sedillo, Sr.
