Ignacio C Marquez, Jr.

Ignacio is survived by his two sons, two daughters, nineteen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and extended family. He is preceded in death by his father, Ignacio Marquez, Sr., his mother, Cornelia Marquez, and various siblings.

Ignacio was born on January 20, 1951 in Waco, Texas. Ignacio was passionate about Jesus, preaching the Word of God, and fishing. Ignacio gave his life to the Lord Jesus Christ at the age of 21. As a faithful servant of God, he began preaching and evangelizing the Gospel of Jesus to as many as he could. It was in the year of 2008 that he began his dialysis journey and many medical difficulties that followed.

His endurance, strength, and unwavering faith was and his love for Christ kept him serving fervently and he continued to seek God for guidance.

He served as preacher, teacher, and mentor to so many and touched the hearts of all who were around him. He delighted in pleasing God by being loyal, committed, and faithful to the end.

Ignacio C. Marquez, Jr. was an anointed man of God and an inspiration to all. He fought the good fight and still ended with the victory to stand face to face with Jesus; completely healed. His memory will live in our hearts forever.
