

James William Garrison went to walk in the Lord’s garden joining his beloved dog, Andy, on April 20, 2015. Rosary and visitation will be held at 10 A.M. with services following at 10:30A.M. on Saturday, April 25th at Connally/Compton Funeral Home.
James was born on Holy Saturday, April 16, 1949, to Mildred (Mraz) and Lloyd Garrison in Waco, TX. He was welcomed to the family by his brother, Richard, and his sister, Patsy. His Mom always liked to call him her little Easter Bunny and tell everyone that he came home from the hospital wearing a cap with bunny ears.
After graduating high school, he attended McLennan Community College, obtaining his degree in business. He embarked on a life-long career in the convenience store business primarily serving in managerial and supervisory roles over a number of different groups of stores. His career with Southland Corporation enabled him to live in several different markets across the state of Texas.
His parents, Mildred and Lloyd, and his brother Richard preceded him in death.
He is survived by his sister, Patsy Dvorak and husband, Johnny; his nephews, Jody Dvorak and family and John Dvorak, Jr. and family; his niece, Michelle Dvorak and son; his beloved aunts, Dorothy Dvorak, Mary Ann Dvorak, Elsie Dvorak and husband, Joe, as well as many cousins and friends.
