Jeffrey Alan Parker

January 18, 1973 – February 16, 2011

Services for Jeffrey Alan Parker will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, February 21, 2011 at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors Chapel with Mr. John Boyd officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday, February 20, 2011 at the funeral home.

Jeffrey Alan Parker was born January 18, 1973 in Alexandria, Louisiana to Charlene and Tommy Parker and big brother, Wayne. He was born again when he was baptized into the Lord on January 10, 1988 by his big brother, Wayne. On February 16, 2011 he went to be with his Lord forever, after 6 ½ years of being unable to enjoy life with his children and family as we know it. He is now whole again. He is running and laughing and watching over his children. He is spending time with his grandparents, as well as all his loved ones who have gone before him. He must be having quite a reunion. I imagine he and his Gangan are out fishing; he is having long talks with his Granddaddy and talking sports with his Pawpaw. He is telling Jon David all about his daddy and the crazy things they used to do when they were growing up.

Jeffrey leaves behind, for a little while, his precious children, Austin, Rylie and Jacob Parker; his mom and dad, Charlene and Tommy Parker; his big brother Wayne and his wife, Jari; their children, Jace, Jackson, Jordan and Jamie; his grandmother, Mozelle Parker, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; as well as friends in the present and the past.

We would like to thank all who have loved our Jeffrey and helped us with his physical care, as well as for all the prayers and concerns shown our family through this journey. Our special thanks to Stacy, Jari, Jordan, Sharron, Crystal, and Nichole for going the extra mile and always being there when we called on them.
