

Mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday, 10:00a.m., January 16, at St. Louis Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.
The family will receive friends 6 to 8:00p.m, Friday, January 15, at Connally Compton Funeral Directors Chapel. A Rosary will be recited.
Odie was born December 15, 1927 in Waco, Texas to Ernest and Maria Riggins. He served in the United States Armed Forces for three years as a Fire Fighter and was honorably discharged in 1946. He married Dolores “Lola” Fuentes September 11, 1949. Odie was a hard worker but his biggest love was his family.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 63 years, Dolores “Lola” Riggins; siblings, Cedro Riggins, Lee Riggins, Valente Riggins, Nancy Rodriguez and Santos Marquez; granddaughter, Amanda Burnor Weese; and his fur baby, Chispita.
Survivors include two children, Linda DeLeon and husband Jessie, Odie Riggins Jr. and wife Becky Sue; Grandchildren, Jerimiah Riggins and wife Cristina, Laura Lee DeLeon and husband Delton, Rodney DeLeon and wife Ashley, Christy Torres and husband Eddie, Eric Riggins; 9 Great Grandchildren, Brandon, Codie, Kaley, Isabel, Trinity, Zachariah, Gabriel, Cobey, and Jesslyn; sisters, Betsy Quinones, Faye Marquez and Betty Padilla; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
