Susan Elaine Churchill, 65, of Waco passed away at her home on Tuesday, July 31, 2012. Visitation will be Friday, August 3 from 6-8pm at Connally Compton Funeral Directors. Graveside services will be Saturday, August 4 at 10am at Oakwood Cemetery.
Susan was born January 17, 1947 in Waco, Texas to Lucille and Robert Murrell. She was a graduate of Baylor University. Susan loved spending time outdoors and raised many birds. She spent many years working for the National Parks Service as a Park Ranger, and retired after working at Sequoia National Park in California.
Susan was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Churchill; father, Robert (Bobby) Murrell; and several Aunts and Uncles.
Susan is survived by her mother, Lucille Murrell; brother, Jimmy Murrell and wife Rose; several Aunts and Uncles; and numerous Nieces, Nephew and Cousins.
