Willadeen C. Hale Engelke

October 19, 1924 – February 16, 2011

God called his Angel, Willadeen C. Engelke, home on Wednesday, February 16, 2011. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 19, 2011 at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors Chapel with Rev. Bob Carpenter officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, February 18, 2011 at the funeral home.

Willadeen was born October 19, 1924 in Goldthwaite, Texas to Tom and Leta (Halbrook) Hale.

Willadeen was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Albert Engelke; son, Donald Earley; 2 sisters and 2 brothers.

Those left behind to cherish Willadeen’s memory are her children, Tom Earley, John Engelke Sr., Debra Engelke, and Melisa Wiley; sister, Katie Deola Easley; 5 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Pallbearers will be John Engelke Jr., Beau Heath, Sonny Heath, Jerry Glenn Miller, Dale Straley, and David Straley. Honorary pallbearers are R.J. Filer, Daniel Foerman, Dan Rubio, Gary Straley, and Michael Tudor.

John 14: 1-4, “Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father's house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you. If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also. And you know the way where I am going."
