Dear Carmelita, Jennifer, Melissa and Families:

Even though Jamie Lee died on July 13, 2015, you know she is still loved and never forgotten. I am hoping that this note will change any feelings of melancholy and sadness that you have concerning her (and other loved ones you have lost) to feelings of HOPE and PEACE. 

Please remember in the Bible at John 5:28-29 Jesus said: "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out ..." At John 11:25 Jesus told the grieving Mary and Martha about their dead brother: "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life [again]." May you find comfort in these scriptures. Dear Carmelita, Jennifer, Melissa and Families:

I was saddened to learn of the death of your dear loved one, Jamie Lee. It is tragic to lose a loved one regardless of his/her age, but it is especially sad to lose one so young, only 19 years with us!

I am hoping that some thoughts from the Bible will bring you some comfort and peace during these tragic times.

First, it was never our Creator's purpose that anyone should die. When He put Adam and Eve in the paradise Garden of Eden, they had endless happy life set before them. [Genesis 1:28]. Our Creator has not given up on that purpose--endless happy life on Earth--even though Satan, Adam and Eve messed up. (Isaiah 55:10-11)

Next, the Bible tells us that it is Satan the Devil who causes death, not God! [Hebrews 2:14]

So, ... our Creator, Jehovah, sent his son, Jesus Christ, to ransom us from death and to destroy all the works of our enemy Satan. [1 John 3:8] Remember Jesus said: "I am the resurrection and the life. He that exercises faith in me will live even if he dies." [John 11:25] With Jesus as King of God's Kingdom, resurrection from the dead AND paradise will be restored.

So, ... until you are reunited with a totally healthy happy Jamie Lee, may you find comfort in these promises from our Creator!
