Regino Cabacungan, 86, of Wailuku, Maui, passed away on December 19, 2016, at his home, under the care of his family. He was born on September 7, 1930, in Wailuku, Maui.Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 6, 2017, at St. Anthony of Padua; mass will begin at 11:00 a.m.; burial will follow, 1:00 p.m. at the Maui Veteran’s Cemetery in Makawao. Regino was a retired boiler room worker at Wailuku Sugar Company. He was predeceased by his wife, Josephine Cabacungan. He is survived by his sons, Lyle Cabacungan, Ivan (Cathy) Cabacungan; daughters, Kathy (Ricky Ruff) Alves, Joni (Michele) Cabacunga, Holly (Adriane) Cabacungan; sisters, Dominga Yadao, Sister Miriam Cabacungan, Martina Aguinaldo; and grandchildren, Jared, Pua, Skyler, Rosie-Lani, Chloe, Risa-Lee, Daulton, Ruby-Lou, Chad and Tyson.
