Shane Kealii Taromi Nishioka

Shane Kelii Taromi Nishioka, 56 of Paia, Maui passed away peacefully on February 22, 2025, at Ka Hale A Ke Ola, Wailuku. He was born on October 20, 1968.

Shane lived his life to the fullest with Aloha and love. He was a happy-go-lucky man with lots of laughter and kindness. He was always willing to help anyone. His passions were hunting and fishing.

He graduated from Maui High School. He worked with his grandfather Henry Burns Sr. for Charlie Ota Ranch, Maui Disposal Company Inc. and B.G. Equipment.

Shane was known as Old Man Nishi which was his nickname. His presence in this world will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Shane was pre-deceased in death by his Father John Nishioka Jr., Stepfather Reno Piligrin and Brother-In-Law Stephen K. Dutro Jr.

He is survived by his Mother Myra Piligrin and his sisters Ursula (Stephen-deceased Nishioka-Dutro, Seena (Brian) Nishioka-Demello, Ninette Mahea Nishioka, Selena (Stacey) Nishioka-Allen and a brother Bradley (Melissa) Nishioka. God-Children Brendon (Keoni) and Bronson (Kaleo) Nishioka-Demello, John (JJ) Nishioka-Dutro, Hunter and Wolfe Holyoak.

Numerous Nephews and Nieces, Kasmer (Kahua), Ursell and Savanah Nishioka-Dutro, Brendon Kuni (Heidi), Bronson (Kaleo) Nishioka-Demello, Brianna (Kapono) Kalama, Travis Nishioka, Stacey Hanalei (Nicky) Allen, Myron Baba (Noni) Myranda and Justin Alika Nishioka-Allen, Devn’n (Keohu) and Joni Nishioka, Noah Kapi‘ina and John JJ Nishioka-Dutro, Kale‘a, Kaila‘i, and Kawai Bongolan, Kainalu and Ava Nishioka-Demello-Namauu, Davien Nishioka-Demello, Briaree, Pu‘ulalea and Kapono (Bubu) Kalama, Navaiah Nishioka-Kaleikini, Reign, River and Reason Allen, Hunter and Wolfe Nishioka-Holyoak, Naia and Pu‘u Nishioka, Kinikaona Vierra-Nishioka.
