Verson Kurr passed away on July 4, 2025 in Maui, Hawai'i. He was born in Kosrae, Micronesia on October 1, 1988 and moved to Hawai'i in 2004.
Verson worked at Coconut's Fish Cafe in Kihei as a line cook and chef. He loved his family and was a talented tattoo artist in his spare time.
Verson is survived by his wife, Merian, his children: Maverick, RD, Kaipo, Emily Tulpe, Vera Lehua, Kimo and Jacob. He is also survived by his parents Lydio and Kenye, his brothers: Aspul (Pancy), Leeroy, Keoni, Keanu and his uncle Forester (Joan) Nena.
Verson will forever be missed, but lives on in our hearts and cherished memories.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, July 25, 2025 at Iao United Church of Christ, 2371 West Vineyard Street in Wailuku, Maui, Hawai'i. The Service will be at 9:00 a.m.; Public Visitation will follow from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Burial will take place at 2:00 p.m. at Valley Isle Memorial Park Cemetery in Haiku.
