She was born May 6, 1924 in Petersburg, WV and was a daughter of the late Jim and Molly Sirbaugh.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Simmons; two sisters, Pauline Weatherholt and Annie Bosley; one brother, Leonard Sirbaugh, two half sisters, Beatrice Hardman and Edna Patch; one half brother, Mitchell Sirbaugh.
She was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
She is survived by one son, Randy Simmons and wife, Debbie of Waldorf, MD three grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Also surviving several nieces and nephews including Janet Weatherholt and Pastor Otis "Buzz" Weatherholt and Jean Bosley. Several Great nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be on Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Huntt Funeral Home in Waldorf, MD. Arrangements by the Huntt Funeral Home in Waldorf, MD
