Edward M. McCormick, 69, of Waldorf, Maryland passed away on Thursday, September 9th, at his home, after a short illness. Mr. McCormick was born in Capital Heights, Maryland on October 15, 1940. He was a member of the Capital Heights Volunteer Fire Department for over 50 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Carol, his daughter Amy, granddaughters, Katelyn, Shelby, and Cheyenne and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, William C. and Louise McCormick, two brothers, William and Francis "Sonny" McCormick and three sisters, Emma "Sis" Young, Doris Moore and Helen Sweeney.
