Eva Evelyn Atchinson

Eva Evelyn Atchinson died January 11,2012 at the age of 82. Mrs. Atchinson was a residence of LaPlata, Maryland. Mrs. Atchinson was born on December 25,1929 in Front Royal, Virginia. She was the owner of E&E Cleaning Services for 23 years, before working for the Prince Georges Board of Education for 10 years. She was the daughter of the late Lawerance Koontz Moreland and Dessie Rae (Richardson) Moreland. Mrs. Atchinson was of the Episcopal faith. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert L. Atchinson, sons; James W. Atchinson, Marvin R. Atchinson and Lewis R. Atchinson, also preceded in death by her grandson Christopher Atchinson. Survivors include: Daughters, Evelyn Bowie and her husband Wayne of LaPlata, Maryland, Leona Jacobs and her husband LeVern of Accokeek, Maryland, sons; Robert Atchinson and his wife Joan of Alexandria, Virginia and Roger Atchinson and his wife Linda of LaPlata, Maryland. Sister Elizabeth Mullikin of Clinton, Maryland. 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.Pallbearers: Robert Atchinson, III, Brandon Atchinson Mark Horton, David Horton, William Atchinson and LeVern Jacobs II. Family will receive friends on Sunday, January 15, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. at The Huntt Funeral Home, 3035 Old Washington Road, Waldorf, Maryland where funeral services will be held at 10 am on Monday. Interment will be at Trinity Memorial Gardens.
