James (Jim) Hallen grew up in the Seattle, WA, area. He joined the U.S. Navy in 1981 and was sent to the east coast for his first duty station at NAS Patuxent River, MD. Once settled in, he met his soon-to-be wife, Donna. Jim and Donna were married for 40 years until his passing. Jim and Donna have two sons, Erik and James.
Jim served a 23.5-year career in the world's greatest Navy and retired as a highly respected Chief Petty Officer. After Jim retired from the Navy, he worked various jobs within the government and even served overseas for an additional 10 years, still supporting and defending his country. Jim is survived by his wife, Donna; two sons, Erik and James; their wives, Erin and Mallorie; and his 3 grandchildren, Hadley, Cooper, and Nolan.
