

Janice Barbara Perkins was born on March 26, 1944 in Washington, D.C. to the late Barbara Waters and the late Rappa Thomas Moore Sr. She departed this life peacefully on October 11, 2024. She was joined in holy matrimony to William P Perkins II, and together they had two sons.
Janice worked as a bindery worker for McArdle Printing Company for over 40 years where she retired in 2015.
Janice loved hanging with the senior’s playing bingo and having bible study weekly. She was a frequent visitor to Old Country Buffet in Laurel, where she was a consistent patron, and the staff recognized her upon her frequent arrival. She was a member of Saint Nicholas Church before she relocated after her retirement to Ft. Washington, MD. Janice loved her cats and would foster them from time to time while having one of her own. Janice truly loved the Lord, and you could tell that once you encountered her. For several years before her health declined, she attended church faithfully and would spend time visiting family and friends. She was known for her strong faith, great sense of humor, her positive outlook on everything, and providing shelter for so many over the years
She leaves behind to cherish her sweet memory, her beloved two sons, Robert Perkins and William Perkins (Renee) and; two brothers, Myron Richardson and Gregory Moore; five grandchildren, Sterling Perkins, Nayo Dickens, Miracle Perkins, Paige Perkins and Parrish Perkins, two great grandchildren; Hunter Perkins and Liam Kelly; Uncle Paul Waters, Aunt Shirley Adams and a host of other family and friends.
