

John Eddie Brady died July 14, 2010 at his home in Waldorf, Maryland at the age of 76. John was born in 1933 in Florida. John retired from the United States Air Force as a MSGT. Son of Bernice Margaret Law Brady and the late Jessie King Brady. John is survived by son John Alan Brady and his wife Ashley of Waldorf, Maryland, Sisters: Vernelle Brown of Rochelle, GA., Margaret Paul and her husband Willie of Ocilla, GA. and sister Faye Oslund and her husband Larry of Crossville, Tenn.. John is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife of 39 years Billie Jean Hughes Brady. John lived and worked on a farm until he graduated from Fitzgerald High School in Georgia and shortly after Southern Business University of Atlanta Georgia in 1954. One month later in November of 1954 he gegan a long career in The United States Air Force. He has been stationed from Texas to Bordeaux, France and back to the United States. Within a few years after being assigned to the Washington D.C. area he received his orders to South Vietnam. Returning back to Washington D.C. he retired as a MSGT in 1975. Mr. Brady retired for a second time from The US ARMY Personnel Center as a Computer System Analyst in 1994. Along with his great pride for having served his country both as an airman and civil service was his love for his family and friends. He was deeply committed to Jesus Christ, his church family and Sunday School Class. He enjoyed fishing and gardening. Family will receive friends at The Huntt Funeral Home, 3035 Old Washington Road, Waldorf, Maryland 20601 on Tuesday, July 20, 2010 from 2:00 -4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 PM. Mr. Brady was a member of The First Baptist Church, Bunker Hill Road, Waldorf, Maryland, where his funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at 12 Noon. Interment will be at Maryland Veterans' Cemetery, Cheltenham, Maryland. Rev. Wayne Kempson will officiate.
