John Edward Moreland

John Edward Moreland died February 23, 2011 at Prince Georges Hospital, Cheverly, Maryland at the age of 77. Mr. Moreland was a resident of Brandywine, Maryland. Mr. Moreland was a caring and kind person to everyone, he loved everyone. Mr. Moreland loved LIFE. He enjoyed arts and wood crafting. Survived by sister: Myrtle E. Duvall and husband Charles L., Nephews: William Beall, Charles L. Duvall, Francis W. Moreland, Charles E. Moreland, Fred Moreland, George Moreland and John Moreland. Also survived by many other great nieces and nephews. Predeceased in death by his wife Mary Faye Moreland, sister: Elsie Lawson, Brothers: Herbert, Ernest, Jr., Francis and Elmer Moreland, nephews: Andrew Moreland, Elmer A. Moreland, Jr., and James Edward Moreland, nieces: Alice Moreland and Joan May. Family will receive friends on Monday, February 28, 2011 at The Huntt Funeral Home, 3035 Old Washington Road, Waldorf, Maryland 20601 from 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 pm., where funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at 11:00 am. Burial will take place at Washington National Cemetery, Suitland, Maryland. Memorial donations may be made in John's name to The Washington Hospital Center, Washington, D.C. or Baden Fire Department.
