

BRANDYWINE - In loving memory of Juanita J. Creamer, 87 of Brandywine, Maryland. Juanita known as "Kim" or "Ms.Young" passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Friday July 19, 2024 at MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital in Clinton, Maryland.
Juanita was born on May 28, 1937 in Seoul, Korea. Throughout her career, she worked at MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital as an Instrument Tech in the Operating Room and as a housekeeper at Malcolm Grow Medical Hospital at Joint Base Andrews.
She enjoyed spending time with family, walking with friends in her neighborhood, gardening, cooking her Korean food and sharing with others, watching Entertainment Tonight "ET" in the evening she especially loved her dogs Shortie, Penny and Ripper. Most of all she was a very caring, kind and compassionate person and showed her family and friends unconditional love.
She was deeply proud of the family that was the product of her love and effort. Juanita is preceded in death by her Husband John Creamer, son-in-law Robert D. Coakley, and granddaughter Jennifer Marie Boone-Parisi and her long-time friend, Kim Wilson, who they affectionately referred to as sisters.
She is survived by her sons James Shanks and his wife Tammie Shanks of Brandywine, Maryland, William Shanks of Mechanicsville, Maryland and former spouse Debi Shanks of La Plata, Maryland, daughter Sharon L. Boone of Champion, Ohio.
Eight grandchildren, Lisa Boone of Champion, Ohio; Robert Boone (Dana) of Warren, Ohio; Brandon Shanks of Charleston, South Carolina; Lindsey (Freddie) Ritter of Niles, Ohio; Melissa (Joe) Windsor of Hughesville, Maryland; Kayla Shanks (Tracy) of Miami, Florida; Ryan (Ariana) Shanks of La Plata, Maryland and Olivia Shanks of Miami, Florida. Twelve great-grandchildren, Desarae Lew, Na'Veyah Parisi, Ah'Leeyah Boone, Paris Parisi, Abriyannah Zadai, Jenna'Lise Coakley, Freddie Ritter, Chace Ritter, Waylon Windsor, Brystol Boone, Wyatt Windsor, and Carter Shanks.
Two great great-children, Emiliano Campana and Camden Campana Two grand-dogs Hachi Shanks and Winston Windsor.
Per her wishes, there will be no memorial services. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the St. Judes in her memory.
