Mary "Alveta" Dade

Mary "Alveta" Dade died October 22, 2011 at her residence in Ft. Washington, Maryland at the age of 84. Mrs. Dade loved playing cards, watching Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, and gambling. She loved spending time with her family and her best friend Munchie. Mrs. Dade was born December 5, 1926 in Bel Alton, Maryland. She is preceded in death by her parents: Ollie Proctor and Walter Swann; Husband: Clayton F. Dade; sister Lucille Thompson, and brother James E. Swann. Survivors include: children: Rose H. Sesker, Eugene Harley (Gloria), James Pickeral (Jean), Clayton Dade Jr. (Diane), Shirley A. Dade, sister: Margaret Hawkins, brother, James B. Swann, Grandchildren, Darrell F. Harley, Scottie Harley, Karen Harley, Dwayne Harley, Daphne Session, Marcia La Rague, Tracy Harley, Mark Pickeral, Marble Campbell, Alandra Harley, Sherrie Watford, Jason Dade, James Dade and numerous great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter and a host of family and friends. Family will receive friends at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Waldorf, Maryland on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 from 10:00 - 11:00 am. where a Mass of Christian burial will be at 11:00 am. Burial will take place at St. Peter's Church Cemetery.
