Robert was proceeded in death by his parents Michael and Anna Levendusky; his wife Brenda (Cockrell) Levendusky; his daughter Lynn Levendusky; and brothers Roger Levendusky and Richard Levendusky.
He is survived by his sons Michael (Kristen) Levendusky and Chad (Billie) Levendusky; his 3 grandchildren Jenna (Neil) Kitzmiller, Brandon Levendusky and Sarah Levendusky. He is also survived by his brother Ronald (Mary) Levendusky.
In addition to many other family members, Robert leaves behind longtime companion Linda Sapienza, with whom he shared 30 years of special memories.
Robert was very proud of his military service in the U. S. Air Force from June 1954 to June 1962. He also enjoyed volunteering at Charlotte Hall Veteran's Home. He was also proud of his long career as a Industrial Arts teacher at Crossland High School and Gwynn Park High School, where he was always referred to as "LD" by his students. With a strong work ethic and desire to help friends, family and community, he used his woodworking skills to make projects and lend a helping hand. He enjoyed outdoor activities such as hunting and camping, although he never made it to the top of Mt. Washington. But most of all he loved being PopPop.
