Thelma Geneva Moore

Thelma G. Moore, 97, of Brandywine, Maryland, formerly of Newhall, West Virginia passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday, April 8, 2012. She was born July 29, 1914 in West Virginia, the daughter of the late John and Nannie Lou Myers. She is the mother of 14 children and is survived by 9 children and 5 children preceded her in death. Juanita (Snookie) Froman and husband Earl, Delores Eaker and husband nick, Zona Virden and husband Don, Nancy Love, Constance Clark, Mike Moore and wife Gwynn, Dennis Moore and wife Gloria, Stan Moore, Jeff Moore, Tom Moore (deceased, Sue Schuman (deceased) and husband Jim, Ray Moore (deceased), Rodney Moore (deceased), Jerry Moore (deceased) and wife Linda. She is also survived by 30 grandchildren,/great-grandchildren/great-great-grandchildren, in addition, her brother, John Myers and his wife Toshiko; her sisters, Emma Jo Deloreso, and Millie Sword and husband Jim. She retired from International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. Her family has requested that memorial contributions be made to your favorite charity in her name in lieu of flowers. The family will receive friends at The Huntt Funeral Home, 3035 Old Washington Road, Waldorf, Maryland, from 10:00 - 11:30 am. April 13, 2012. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 11:30 am on Friday. The Committal service will follow in Trinity Memorial Gardens in Waldorf, Maryland.
