

Timothy W. McConnell of La Plata MD died suddenly on July 15, 2021. He is survived by his father, James F McConnell of Little River, South Carolina, two brothers, David E McConnell and James C McConnell, both of Virginia Beach VA, and one sister, Kyley M McConnell of Waldorf MD. Timothy was pre-deceased by his mother, Lydia A. McConnell of Waldorf, MD. Additional he is survived by three daughters, Josephine B. Tippet, of Clinton MD, Jaylyn S. McConnell and Ashlyn M. McConnell, both of North Beach MD, and two nieces, Britney A Brengle of Little River, SC and Briana M. Beal of Conway, SC.
Timothy was a 1998 graduate of Thomas Stone High School in Waldorf MD. He had worked as a cook, bricklaying and construction worker, and a sheet metal worker. He had many friends and acquaintances and was loved by all. He had a lover of music, especially classic and southern rock, heavy metal, and country music. He spent much time listening to music.
In addition, he could play the guitar, was a history buff, and did extensive work on Ancestry.com. His interest in history resulting in his researching his mother’s ancestry. This led to his discovery that she had descendents who were officers in the Confederate Army.
Timothy struggled with problems throughout his life and was working to overcome them. He was loved by his family and was one of God’s children. He sadly has been called home all too soon, but will be fondly remembered.
