Arsenio G Acob

Arsenio Galamay Acob of Wapato, 82, passed away March 15, 2012 at home surrounded by his family. He was born in Solano, Philippines on December 5, 1929 and moved to the Wapato area in 1968. Arsenio worked as a teacher for the Wapato School District until retirement in 1998. After retiring he continued to work as a substitute teacher for the school district.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years Rosita Acob; children Teresita Olive (Marcelo) Gambito, Jane (Joe) Wu, Mely (Steve) Davenport, Juliet (Ken) Capp, Rosenio Acob, Romeo Acob, Norma (Zack) Rau, Noly (Ann) Acob, Carmen (Duane) Innes; 28 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday, March 16, 2012 from 3:00 to 6:00, p.m. at Merritt Funeral Home in Wapato.

The Funeral Service will be at Wapato Community Presbyterian Church on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at 9:30 a.m., with burial following at Reservation Community Memorial Park in Wapato.
