

Boogie was raised in Wapato, WA where he attended school. He loved to dance and that’s where he got his name. Boogie also enjoyed drawing and skateboarding but he loved to cook. He would cook for anyone and everyone. At the age of 20 he moved to Spokane and attended the chef school there and shortly after got a job at the Red Lion Inn as a cook.
Javier recently moved back to Wapato, WA where his friends, family and kids are at. He loved to put a smile on everyone’s faces and would do anything to make you happy. He also loved his children who will greatly miss him.
Javier is survived by his mother, Ruth Ortega; father, Joe Saiz; step mother, Deandrea Garcia; dad, Javier Garcia; sons, Javier, Isacc and Tyron Garcia; daughters, Jasmine and Charisma Garcia of Wapato; there mother Tony Martinez; brothers, Peter Ortega, Fernando Garcia and JR Ortega all of Wapato, Collin, Emmanuel and Emillio Garcia all of Spokane; sister, Crystal Ortega of Wapato, Hailey and Elena Garcia both of Spokane and girlfriend, Shaina T.
He was preceded in death by friends.
Visitation will be 4-7pm Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at Merritt Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 10:00am Thursday, May 19, 2011 at St. Peter Claver Church.
