Adolf was the beloved husband of the late Jadwiga, with whom he shared 53 years of marriage. He was a loving father to Katarzyna (Jaroslaw) Dabkowski, Magdalena (Frank) Wierzbicki, and Tomasz (Erin) Butryn, and a proud grandfather to Jakub (Gabi) Dabkowski, Zuzanna (Piotr) Brzozowski, Michael Wierzbicki, Kevin Wierzbicki, Logan Butryn, and Colin Butryn. He was also a cherished great-grandfather to Jasio Dabkowski. He was preceded in death by his siblings Helena, Stefania, Rozalia, Jozef, Gustaw, and Kazimierz. Adolf is survived by many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Music was the soundtrack of Adolf’s life. A gifted musician, he played the saxophone, clarinet, and accordion. He performed in bands, churches, and as part of the marching band for the city of Stalowa Wola in Poland. His repertoire spanned classical music, polka, and jazz. It was through music that he met the love of his life—Jadwiga—at a dance where he was performing with the band.
Adolf had a joyful spirit and a wonderful sense of humor. He loved to make people laugh, telling jokes and inventing funny rhymes. He was truly the life of the party and, together with his wife, hosted many lively gatherings filled with music, laughter, and warmth.
A talented and hardworking man, Adolf was very handy and loved fixing things and tinkering. After immigrating to the United States with his family in 1991, he built a life through dedication and skill, working as a master welder before retiring from Chrysler.
Above all, Adolf cherished time with his grandchildren. He delighted in teaching them music, sharing stories, and passing down his love of life, laughter, and creativity.
