

Alan Victor Wisniewski, age 69, of Madison Heights, Michigan passed away on Monday, March 24, 2025. He was born on August 14, 1955, in Detroit to his late parents Stanley and Lorraine (nee: Zientak) Wisniewski.
Alan was born and raised on the Eastside of Detroit, where he developed a strong work ethic and a love for his community. He attended Holy Name of Jesus Catholic School, where he served as an altar boy, and later graduated from Detroit Servite High School. As a young man, Alan’s family owned Sheree's Bar, where he helped clean on Sundays, fostering his sense of responsibility and deep family bonds.
Alan was married to his beloved wife, Cindy, for 25 years. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and lasting memories. His dedication to his family was unwavering, and he cherished the time spent with his loved ones, especially during family reunions in Grayling and other gatherings.
Professionally, Alan was a proud lifetime printer. He took immense pride in his work, and his dedication to his craft was a testament to his commitment to excellence. Throughout his career, Alan earned the respect of colleagues and peers alike, known for his reliability, kindness, and strong character.
In his spare time, Alan enjoyed a variety of outdoor activities. He loved spending time at his second home in Port Austin, where he could unwind by the water. Golfing, camping trips, and enjoying the beauty of nature brought him great joy. A fan of sports, Alan especially loved watching hockey, and he also had a passion for casino trips, where he spent many happy hours.
Uncle Al was a master of comfort food, and one of his signature creations was his infamous ham roll-ups—an absolute family favorite. No gathering was complete without his carefully crafted dish, which he always made with love.
Alan will be remembered as a well-respected man with a heart full of love for his family, his work, and the simple pleasures in life. His warmth, kindness, and sense of humor will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Alan was the beloved husband of Cindy. Loving brother of Michael (Bonnie) Wisniewski and Dennis (Patty) Wisniewski. Dear uncle of Dawn, Tina, Sandi, Brenda (Mike) Shott, Sarrah (Robert) Hovis, and Nick (Janine) Wisniewski. Cherished great-uncle of Griffin and many other loving great-nieces and nephews.
A Memorial for Alan will be held on Tuesday, April 29th from 10am until the time of his Memorial Service at 11:30am at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road, Warren, MI.
