Alger Ignash, age 85 of Clinton Township, died at home on August 6, 2012. Alger was born July 29, 1927, in Port Austin, Michigan the son of the late Steve and the late Helen (nee: Strozewski) Ignash. Alger retired from Automotive Molding. He enjoyed volunteering at Bi-County Hospital and loved going up north to the cottage and fishing as well as spending as much time as possible with his family.Alger was the beloved husband of the late Irene. He was a dear father of Larry (Chris), Dan (Vicki), Gary, Michael, Rosemary (Russell) Head, Patty (Gordon) Wartella, Karen, Peggy (Ken) Dudley and the late Stephen. Loving grandfather of 21 grandchildren and great grandfather of 13. Visitation for Alger will be Friday 3-9pm with a 7pm Rosary at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 ' Mile Road). He will lie in state Saturday 11:30 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 12:00 p.m. at St. Clement Catholic Church.
