Ambrose lived a life full of love, friends, and adventure. Ambrose was born Ambrose Anthony Orlando on June 3, 1926; the son of Anthony and Frances Orlando of Detroit, Michigan. Ambrose was the 4th oldest of six children, a father, an uncle, and a friend to everyone who ever knew him.
Ambrose was a musician in his early years playing the accordion in nightclubs and also worked on a cruise line when he was a teenager. In his later years, Ambrose chose to work as a produce vendor selling fruits and vegetables throughout the neighborhoods of Detroit. From the East side to the West side, from up-town to downtown, everyone knew who Mr. Tony was.
Ambrose always had a positive outlook on life and his love for his Catholic faith and his relationship with the Lord continued to grow throughout the years. Ambrose had requested in his funeral plans that in lieu of flowers that a mass card be purchased and contribution to your local place of worship would be greatly appreciated. God Bless.
