Andy grew up in Detroit, then Lincoln Park where he raised his family. Andy honorably served in the US Army during the Korean War. He then went on to enjoy tool and die work. You could often find him fixing things around the house. Andy met his loving longtime companion, Marylouise, in 2003. He eventually moved to Warren to be with her and enjoyed nearly 20 wonderful years together. They loved taking trips and enjoyed being on the lake and boat together. He enjoyed socializing with the Line Dance community while Marylouise danced. Another love of Andy’s was playing and always winning Euchre. Everyone wanted to be his partner. More than anything, Andy loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Andy will forever be remembered as a caring, loving man. He will be missed immensely and loved eternally by his loving family and friends.
Andrew was the beloved longtime companion of Marylouise Stokes (mother of Richard (Laurice) Stokes and Stacy (Bill) Calder). Loving father of Paula (Larry) Bays and Lisa (Tom) Barta. Cherished grandfather of Matthew Crandall, Michael (Judy) Crandall, Jake (Carla) Branham, and Amanda (James) Kerr. Adored great-grandfather of Madison, Morghan, Maddyn, and Mischa Crandall.
