Angeline Milkowski, age 95, died Easter Sunday, April 4, 2021 at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan. Angeline was born August 22, 1925 in Detroit, Michigan, daughter of the late Felix Weglarz and the late Aniela (nee: Mucha) Weglarz.
Angeline was raised on the family farm in Marine City with her fifteen other siblings. She was raised to be a hardworking young woman who performed her chores and then went off to school. While learning amongst all the other children within their one room school building, Angeline excelled in her studies. Over the years she learned at such a rapid pace that she was able to skip over two grades before graduating eighth grade. Angeline went on to graduate 12th grade from Marine City High School, and then joined the workforce.
During her working years she was somewhat of a “Rosie the Riveter,” however her work did not involve riveting, Angeline was soldering circuit boards for our military’s defense missiles. In addition to her many hours working, Angeline was also a mother raising her children and tending to her home. She was a loving and caring mother making sure her children had the necessary items for each day.
Angeline cherished her family, her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her Catholic faith. One of her most cherished memories was to celebrate her 90th birthday surrounded by her entire family and friends.
Angeline Milkowski was the beloved wife of the late Edward John Milkowski Sr., and loving mother of Edward Jr. (the late Diana) Milkowski, Dennis (Joyce) Milkowski, Karen (Michael) Doyle, Kenneth Milkowski, Howard (Jacqueline) Milkowski, and the late Kathleen Fogoros, and Evelyn Milkowski.
