Auntie Annie was a vibrant, caring, and fun loving woman whose quick wit could always make me laugh. As I write, I am flooded with precious memories of her, at Pokoj picnics, card games, and running around making food at family celebrations in someones basement. She will be missed dearly. Auntie Annie was and always will be my God Mother. She will be so truly missed. I can remember when I was little I would have sleepovers at her house to watch the Miss America Pageant. I always felt special when I was with her. I will never forget the day that she took me to get my ears pierced when I was nine. I was so excited! Then there was the time she took me to California to visit my cousins. I was probably only in the 5th grade and got to ride a trolley car! She was like a second mom to me. I could always confide in her. I still remember the time Randy and I were at a wedding and she asked him when he was going to marry me. I think she knew he was right for me even before I did! My family will miss playing games and cards with her. Auntie Annie, we will miss you, we love you so much! Debbie, Randy, Trent and Brock

My deepest sympathy to the family for the loss of your dearly beloved one, may your hearts find comfort in knowing that Jehovah God and his son Jesus Christ love us Romans 5:8; Psalms 83:18. Jesus Christ promised one day soon, we will be reunited with our dear loved ones again here on earth and the disease of aging will be reversed Job 33:25; John 5:28, 29; Psalms 37:29.

My condolences and deepest sympathy to Annie's son, daugher-in-law, grandchildren, and all of her dear family. She mentioned you many times in my conversations with her, and she loved all of you, so much. I met Annie many years ago when my parents, Bud & Doris Smith, took me to dinner on a Friday evening to a place called Kitty's Kitchen at the old Swinging City Lounge in Hamtramck, and Annie was our waitress. She soon found out that I loved those home-made pierogies that she served and helped make, and she waited on me many mores times after that. Annie became a dear friend of both, my parents and family. After my parents passed, she stayed in touch with me, asking always how I and the rest of my family were doing. Whenever she called me and I was not able to take her call, I knew what I was going to hear, her trademark message that she always left..."give me a buzz". I would return her call and we always would lose track of time talking. When she decided to sell her much loved home in Warren, I was honored that she had asked me to sell it for her. As for those home-made pierogies, she never forgot that I loved them, and I was always delighted when she would tell me to come over, because she had some for me. Annie will be truly missed, but will live forever in all of the hearts of those lives that she touched.
