Anna Marie Lempert, age 91 of Warren. died Monday, July 7, 2014 at her home. She was born September 8, 1922 in Poland to Tomas and Katherine (nee: Lys) Sekrecki . Although Anna had resided in the United States for many years, she still maintained a strong & loving bond with her relatives back in Poland. The central theme of Anna's life was in the devotion she possessed for her family and friends; she was always happiest surrounded by those she cherished. Anna was also a deeply religious person and devout in her faith. As a longtime member of St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church in Warren, she was blessed to have made many wonderful and faithful friendships that not only stood the test of time, but were a source of great encouragement in her walk with the Lord. Mrs. Lempert worked as a waitress for many years, a job she loved and which offered her yet another venue of putting her in daily contact with numerous people in the community. From those contacts, she enjoyed the company of patrons who became very dear friends as well. Anna was also quite proud of the houses she lived in throughout the years,...first in Detroit, then Warren, and ultimately in Sterling Heights. She took great pride in keeping her homes neat and clean, a place of comfort and aesthetic beauty for all to enjoy. Anna was blessed to live a long life, due in large part to the fact that she took her health very seriously and faithfully maintained all of her doctor's appointments. As devout as she was to her faith, so it was with her physical being as well. Anna was truly an example for many, and touched a multitude of hearts and souls along the pathway of her life. She leaves a storehouse of wonderful memories created, great conversations shared, and a host of warm reflections for those to share who were blessed to know her. She will be missed immensely and loved eternally. She was the loving wife of the late Karol, beloved mother of Jan, Dana, and Andrew Lempert, and cherished grandmother of 3. Visitation for Anna will be held on Wednesday, July 9th from 3-9 pm, with a 7pm Rosary Service, at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Rd. at Common (12 ½ Mile) in Warren.
