Anne May Gensor

Anne May Gensor, age 82 a longtime resident of Warren, died Friday, July 30, 2010 at St. John Macomb Hospital Center in Warren. Anne was born September 25, 1927 in Detroit, Michigan the daughter of the late Simon Krisak and the late Mary (nee: Smerek) Krisak. Anne was raised in Detroit and during her earlier years worked as a keypunch operator for the railroad. She later became a wonderful mother raising her five children. When she was not busy or working she enjoyed spending her time with family and also was a devote parishioner of St. Edmund Catholic Church. Mrs. Gensor was the beloved wife of the late Frank, and the dearest mother of David Gensor, Michael Gensor, Mary Therese (Michael) Chopp, Suzanne Gensor, and Renee Gensor. She is also the loving grandmother of Michael, Ann, Peter, Elizabeth, and great-grandmother of Tyler, and Evan. Also Anne was the sister of Emily Bylicki, Dorothy Stark, and the late Frank Krisak, John Krisak, Paul Krisak , Helen Krisak, Margaret Roman, Mary Krisak, Rose Senall, and Agnes Borys. Visitation for Mrs. Gensor will be held Monday from 2-9 pm, with a 7pm Rosary Service at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 1/2 Mile Road). Mrs. Gensor will lie in state Tuesday 10 am at St. Edmund Catholic Church until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10:30 am. Celebrating the Funeral Liturgy will be Rev. Fr. Robert Witkowski and Rev. Fr. Darrell Roman. Interment will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Detroit. Please share memories of Mrs. Gensor at her guest book.
