Arthur married the love of his life, Merrena, with whom he shared many decades of partnership until her passing in 2013. Together they built a large and loving family. Arthur was the proud father of Mickey Boles (Paul), Michael Covell (Linda), Valerie (Gary), James Covell (Cookie), and Gary Covell.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Merrena, his sons, Gary and James, his daughter-in-law Cookie, and his sons-in-law Skip Watson and Gary Fahner.
Arthur’s legacy continues through his 15 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild, each of whom brought him immense joy. Family was always the center of his world.
A dedicated and skilled worker, Arthur spent 34 years with Chrysler, where he was known for his reliability, strong work ethic, and steady presence. Outside of work, he was kind, patient, and always ready with a story or a smile.
Arthur will be remembered for his strength, his gentle spirit, and the deep love he held for those around him. His family takes comfort knowing he is reunited with Merrena, his sons, and the loved ones who went before him.
Visitation at the Warren location of A.H. Peters Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 18, 2-9pm. Funeral service on Wednesday, November 19, at 10am at the funeral home.
