Barbara J. Clouse

Born on August 20, 1947, in Detroit, Michigan, Barbara was the cherished daughter of Stanley and Pauline Greer. She was the beloved wife of Gary Clouse, with whom she shared 58 beautiful years of marriage. Together, they built a life rooted in devotion, laughter, and deep love.

Barbara was the loving mother of Cheryl Clouse, Jenni (Matt) Stec, and Michelle Clouse. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Jillian (Logan) Prais, Damon Clouse, Shane Stec, Luke Stec, Aiden Stec, Larissa Stec, and Charlotte Stec. Her heart and home were always open to her family, and her joy was found in their happiness.

Barbara is survived by her dear sister Linda Payne and was preceded in death by her brothers Gary Greer and Charles Payne. She also leaves behind many extended family members and friends who will miss her deeply.

A faithful parishioner of St. Malachy Catholic Church for 47 years, Barbara's faith was a guiding light in her life. She was known for her warmth, her kindness, and her unwavering dedication to those she loved.

Barbara treasured her weekly outings with her girlfriends—shopping, chatting, and playing cards were the highlights of her week. She never passed up a good garage sale and spent every summer up North, relaxing on the beach or zipping around on a dirt bike.

She was a loving and selfless wife, mother, and grandmother who always took care of everyone around her—until she no longer could. Her strength, humor, and heart will never be forgotten.

Barbara's legacy lives on in the family she nurtured, the friendships she cherished, and the memories she created. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 4, from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a Rosary at 7:00 PM, at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Road, in Warren. Instate will be held on 10:30 AM until the time of the service at 11:00 AM, at St. Malachy Catholic Church, 14115 East 14 Mile Road, in Sterling Heights.
