Betty M. Berryman, age 80, of Roseville, died Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at Mount Clemens Regional Medical Center. Betty was born April 19, 1928 in Detroit the daughter of the late Arthur and the late Edna (nee: Ludwig) Tapert. Betty was known for having a "green thumb". She enjoyed gardening tomato plants for her family. Her favorite flower was the pink rose. She is survived by her siblings, Calvin (Donna Jane) Tapert and Marilyn Barrett; also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Betty is predeceased by her husband, Wilbert; son, Wilbert "Johnny"; siblings, Arthur Tapert Jr., Harold Tapert, and Earl Tapert. Visitation for Mrs. Berryman will be held Thursday 5-9 p.m. and Friday 2-9 p.m. at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 1/2 Mile Road). A Funeral Service will be held Saturday 10:30 a.m. at the Funeral Home. Officiating the Funeral Service will be Pastor Donnie Lackey. Interment will take place at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Detroit.
