A devoted member of the Catholic Church, Betty found her spiritual home at St. Rene in Sterling Heights. Her unwavering faith guided every aspect of her life. She was deeply involved in her parish community—teaching Catechism classes, serving as a lector during Sunday Masses, and dedicating countless summer days to Vacation Bible School. Through these ministries, she touched the lives of many children and families, helping them grow closer to God with warmth and sincerity.
Betty’s love for others extended far beyond the church walls. She had a heart that radiated kindness and empathy. Always ready to lend a hand or offer a listening ear, she made it her mission to ease the burdens of those around her. Her selflessness and gentle spirit left an indelible mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
In addition to her deep faith and service to others, Betty found immense joy in the magic of Disney. A lifelong fan of Mickey Mouse and all things Disney World, she cherished every opportunity to visit the parks—especially when accompanied by her family and friends. Watching their faces light up with wonder brought her immeasurable happiness. These shared moments became treasured memories that will live on in the hearts of those she loved.
Betty’s legacy is one of love—love for God, for family, for community, and for the simple joys that bring people together. Her presence was a blessing to many, and her memory will continue to inspire acts of kindness and faith.
May her memory bring comfort to those who knew her. A memorial service will be held on
