Betty L. Salter

Betty was a God-fearing woman who faithfully attended Warren Woods Church of the Nazarene for over 60 years. She was known as a friend to everyone she met, a hardworking soul who appreciated the simple things in life, and someone who found her greatest joy in spending time with her family.

Holidays were especially meaningful at Betty’s home. She was well known for her homemade pizza and her beloved zucchini bread, which became her signature gift for family and friends on any occasion.

Beloved wife of Frank Salter Jr.. Loving mom of Tom (the late Susan) Salter, Bonnie (Walter) Hudas, and Keith (Laura) Salter. Dear grandma of Lisa (Chad), Matthew, Emily (Clay), Joel (Cassie), Thomas (Kaylynn), and the late Turner. Cherished great grandma of Tyler (Amber), Aaron, and Logan. Beloved great-great grandma of Alexandra and Charlotte. Caring sister of Ramona (the late Ralph) Noxsel, Phil Bodmer, the late Lee Bodmer, Marilyn Sexton, Doug (Margie) Bodmer, and Stanley “Dude” Bodmer. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and her “grandog” Zeva.

Visitation will take place on Friday, April 3rd, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Faith Baptist Church, 34950 Little Mack Avenue, Clinton Township, Michigan. Betty will be laid to rest at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Detroit.
