Brandy Nicole Vincke, age 26 of Warren, died suddenly Saturday, May 13, 2006 in Detroit. Brandy was born February 15, 1980 in Mt. Clemens Michigan the daughter of Margaret Maggie (nee: Kardasz) McWilliams, and the late Andrew Vincke. Brandy is survived by her loving mother Maggie and Maggies husband James McWilliams, her two siblings Breann, and Ian McWilliams. Also surviving are her grandparents Mike and Joann McWilliams. Brandy was also the loving friend of Anthony Grillo, and dearest friend of Ezra Shaya. Brandy was raised in Eastpointe and was a cheerleader in elementary and middle school. Also she entered many beauty pageants between the age of 13 and 17, and studied all types of dance tap, ballet, etc. Brandy graduated East Detroit high school and went on to attend Michigan State University for 2 years. While at Michigan State she traveled abroad studying with the Semester at Sea program. The program held classes aboard a ship and while the ship was in port the students would travel ashore to learn the local customs and explore. After college Brandy went to casino dealers school and also Bartending School. Brandy moved to California and worked at several restaurants in Malibu, as a bartender before returning to Michigan. Once back in Michigan Brandy taught fitness and kickboxing at Power House Gym and many other local fitness centers. Brandy was a certified fitness instructor and also a massage therapist. She continued to work in the food service and entertainment industry, as a bartender, but her true love was fitness. Brandys mother will always remember her daughter as a person who shined on all of us one way or another. She tried very hard to be different, to disregard the way life is supposed to be, and do things in a way that made her happy. Remember Brandys smile and remember Brandys ways. Brandy radiated beauty; she made people laugh, she made people cry. She had an irresistible charm. She liked to perform and have all eyes on her, doing pageants, cheerleading, playing dress-up and putting on shows. The lesson the world can learn from her: Remember each day, to cherish those close to you. Tell them you love them, for each day could be the last chance you get. A memorial visitation will be held Saturday from 1-5 pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 mile). Memorial donations are appreciated to the Brandy Vincke Memorial Scholarship Fund in care of LaSalle Bank 30160 Van Dyke, Warren, Michigan 48093. Please share memories of Brandy at her guest book.
