An avid animal lover, she and her husband dedicated many years to rescuing greyhounds, opening their home to dogs in need. She also enjoyed attending Renaissance festivals with her friend Pete, where they dressed in elaborate costumes.
A strong and selfless woman, Brenda was always quick to put others before herself. She was the glue that held her family together, steadfast, nurturing, and endlessly giving. One of her greatest joys was caring for her family. Her signature spaghetti dinners, made with love because she knew it was her sons’ favorite, will be remembered fondly by all.
Brenda was the loving wife of the late Ronald Goring, with whom she shared 36 devoted years of marriage. She was a cherished mother to Brian, Jason (Cindy), and the late Craig, and a proud and loving grandmother to Aaron, Ryan, Jacob, Carson, Jason, and Jax, whom she delighted in spoiling at every opportunity. She was a caring sister to Brydie (Jeff) and Barbara, and is also survived by many nieces and nephews, her dear friend Pete Terry, and her beloved dogs, Louie and Abby.
