Bryan Keith Nowicki, age 53 of St. Clair Shores, died Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at St. John Hospital in Detroit. He was born August 27, 1960 in Farmington Hills, Michigan, son of Robert Sr. (Debbie) and the late Eva K. (nee: Halso) Nowicki. We've all heard the phrase, "STRONG-LIKE-BULL,"…and it's a moniker that Bryan truly lived up to and wore proudly. With a will as strong as steel, he was the kind of guy who would let nothing get in the way of his resolve. And if a challenge presented itself, Bryan possessed the perfect mix of ingenuity and creativity to figure a way out. Yet, for all the strength he conveyed, there was no mistaking the side of Bryan that could melt your heart. He would never turn his back on anyone, and would "give the shirt off his back" to anyone in need. He was like a Cadbury Easter Egg,…a hard outer shell, but filled with all kinds of sweet goodness inside. Bryan worked hard,…and played hard,…but the best part of this strong & compassionate man was woven into the fabric of family & friends and the times they spent making great memories together. He always looked out for his loved ones,…protected them, provided for them, and was true to the core. And when it came to friendship, there was no greater buddy or pal than Bryan,…and they knew it. A life gone far too soon from our presence, Bryan leaves a storehouse of wonderful memories for all to treasure who were blessed to know him. He will truly be missed,…and loved.Bryan was the loving father of Brittany Nowicki. Son-in-law of Flo Salamino. Dearest companion of Debbie Newton. Brother of Penni (Tom) Lipinski, Robert W. Jr., Sue (Gordie) Orcutt, Karen Gibson, and Jo Dee Burton. Loving grandfather of Purity, and Godfather of Haylee Hawkins. He is also survived by several loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and lots of great friends…Go MGB.Visitation for Bryan will take place on Saturday, August 9th from 1-4pm, with a 4pm Funeral Service, at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 ½ Mile Rd) in Warren. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the family. Please share memories of Bryan at his memory book.
