Carl Victor Voelker

Carl Voelker, age 68, of Sterling Heights, Michigan passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2023. Loving husband of Kathy for 48 years. Dear father of Carl Don (Michelle) Voelker and Kyle (Tina) Voelker. Beloved grandfather of Carl Christian Voelker and Rowan Voelker. He is survived by his sisters, Kim Voelker and Tracy (Mike) Underwood; and his Aunt, LeAnne Marden. He is predeceased by his sister (Vickie), father (Carl Don) and mother (Barbara).

Carl was a dedicated and hard-working man, spending many years in the construction field, and eventually owning his own construction business. He was also co-owner of the Fraser Ice Arena for many years. In his free time, Carl enjoyed hunting and fishing, finding peace in the outdoors. He was also an avid hockey fan and coach, and could always be found cheering on his beloved sons, the Detroit Red Wings, and more recently, his grandson. Carl found much joy in his role as “G-Pa” to Carl Christian and Rowan.

A visitation for Carl will be held Wednesday, October 18, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Rd, Warren, Michigan 48088. A funeral service will occur Thursday, October 19, 2023 at 10:00 AM at A.H. Peters Funeral Home.
