Charles Michael Harrison

Charles attended Lakeview High School and graduated in 1986. After graduation, he worked diligently for the family business, Harrison Floor Covering, until 2001. His generous spirit led him to volunteer for numerous agencies, dedicating his time to assisting people facing medical challenges.

For 15 years, Charles was a cherished resident of Leisure Manor before moving into a nursing home, where he continued to make friends with his vibrant personality. Known for his love of fishing and watching sports, Charles was a devoted fan of the Detroit Lions, Detroit Tigers, and Detroit Red Wings, as well as various college teams.

Charles’s warmth and charm were unmatched, and his sparkling blue eyes often lit up every room he entered. He had a knack for making friends wherever he went and enjoyed spending time in the company of others.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He was the dear brother of Lynne (Richard) Miller, Robert (Sherri) Harrison, Fred (Susan) Harrison, and Jessie (Jack) Calas. He was also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends, especially his dear friend Jan Slaybaugh.

A celebration of life for Charles will be held on Thursday, February 6, 2025, at 1:00 pm at ShorePointe Nursing Center, located at 26001 Jefferson Ave, St Clair Shores, MI 48081.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 ½ Mile Road).
