Charles Anthony Walby II

Charles Anthony Walby II, “Skip,” age 69 of Madison Heights, died Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at the Beaumont Dialysis Center in Hazel Park, Michigan. Skip was born to parents Charles Anthony and the late Alice Terese (nee: Roberts) Walby on February 15th, 1950.

Skip graduated from Brother Rice High School and received a degree in business administration from Western Michigan University where he was a member of the Sky Bronco’s flying club.  Skip spent many years as bowling proprietor with his father and brother.  He enjoyed golfing and boating in Michigan and Florida.  Most of all, Skip enjoyed spending time with family, especially his two sons and their families. Skip will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Skip was the dearest father of Christopher (Jillian) Walby and Nicholas (Michelle) Walby. Loving grandfather of Madeline and Dominic Walby. Beloved brother of David (Judy) Walby and Wendy (Rick) Sherman. Cherished uncle of J.J., Chase, Kelley, and Connor.

To remember and pay tribute to Skip, a Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday from 4-6 pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 ½ Mile Road) in Warren. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations would be appreciated to the Oakland County Animal Shelter in Pontiac, Michigan.
