Christine Sanders

The family of Christine Sanders is saddened to announce her passing, age 65 on December 8, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born in Shelby, Ohio to the late Ray and Mary Ann Allamon.

Christine is survived by her beloved husband Jesse Sanders for 44 years. Cherished mother to Pete (Joan) Sanders. Dearest grandmother of Seth, Gwen, Liam and Leitha. Loving sister of Cheryl Ann (Larry) Schunke, Linda (Jim) Darnell, Debbie (Kirk) Hamilton, Richard Allamon, David (Cathie) Allamon, Tim (Nancy) Allamon.Cherished aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Christine lived a life full of passion and connection. She honorably served her country in the United States Air Force. She worked 25 years for the United States post office and was a member of her union. In her personal time, Christine enjoyed traveling and making cherished memories with loved ones, particularly at their cabin up north. She was known for her love of a good football game, her special sister trips. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and will be greatly missed.

Christine will be laid to rest at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Road Holly, MI 48442 on Friday, January 9, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.
