Dale E. Boddery

Dale Boddery, age 80, died on February 20, 2024. She was born in Worchester, Massachusetts on September 1, 1943, and grew up on Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts to the late Abraham and the late Mary Fisher.

She met Arthur Gill after he was discharged from the U.S. Navy and was married on Valentine's Day, February 14, 1964, and the two began to raise their 4 children together and lived in St. Clair Shores.

In 1974, Dale ventured out into the working world and became a waitress. Her gift to gab came in handy while socializing with her customers as she made many new friends and had repeat customers. She also enjoyed cooking and spending time with her children.

In 1980 Dale was remarried to John Boddery until he passed away in 1987. They truly enjoyed each other’s company and could always be found together doing things that couples do…eating out, running errands, and just hanging out at home.

She was a gentle soul and will be missed by all who knew her.

Dale was the dear mother of Art (Kristyl) Gill, Colleen (Robert) Napier, Pamela (Thomas) Nowak, and Harold Gill. The devoted grandmother of Abby, Emily, Kaitlyn, Mary, Zachary, and Ashton. Sister of the late Patricia Mahoney, and the late Harold Cantor.

Inurnment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township.
