

Daniel Gilbert-John Barth, age 26, died Sunday, June 19, 2016 at his home in Warren, Michigan. Daniel was born April 12, 1990 in Detroit, Michigan and later raised in Warren.Daniel attended St. Clement Catholic grade school and later graduated from Warren Woods Tower High School in Warren. Following his schooling, Daniel worked various jobs before joining the Sheet Metal Workers Union #292. Dan worked in many capacities within the sheet metal industry from fabricator to installer.When Dan was not working, he had a passion for the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, or just hanging out up north with family, friends, or side by side with his dog, Mac. He loved to dirt bike with friends any chance he had, whether locally or up north in Caseville or Kalkaska.. When Dan was young, he loved all sports from baseball to football and played on many teams during his youth.Quiet time for Dan always seemed to involve food and cooking,...he truly had a gift with his culinary talents. He also was somewhat of an artist, enjoying drawing many different works of art. Most everyone who knew Dan will remember him as having one of the biggest hearts, a person who loved all his friends and would give the shirt off his back for someone in need. Dan also had the heart of a caregiver and, later in life, took care of his grandparents. He will be truly missed by all whose lives he touched.Dan was the cherished son of Rose Barth and Daniel Barth. He was the dear brother of Danette, Megan, and the beloved grandson of Maria (the late Gilbert) Kopacki and Carol (the late Tony) Barth. Dan was the loving nephew of John, Debra, David, Dennis, and Donna. Dan is also survived by his best friends, Stevie Hoppe and Scott Jackson "Step Dad"; as well as many nieces, cousins, and friends.
